We are offering three lectures with tea/coffee breaks with Greek biscuits, a three-course Greek-style buffet lunch (Attendees are welcome to bring their own wine/soft drinks).
Speakers include Professor Philip Bosman – Alexander in Egypt – Between history & myth-making; Professor Sakkie Cornelius – A Tale of Two Cities…on the Nile – Pharaonic Egypt and Ptolemaic culture and religion; and Mr Joseph Koetsier – The History of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina – Its foundation, development, destruction & resurrection.
